If you can't install it then you are probably missing some dependancy. In mod manager right click on it then Properties then Advanced Info. You will see a Status column of things and if it says "Not installed" you must probably install that.
Hmmm, sounds the same. I can see the car tab in game, and I select it............. should it have it's own skin, or is it just a sound change to all cars?
In fact, I was really found of your previous sounds. Unfortunatly my rFactor 2 mods are definitly all lost because it deleted every single file in the rfactor2_settings directory Do you have the sound archive somewhere or the previous version of your mod with them included so I can download it ? thkx Jul'

I have the exact same problem, i can see the mod in the mod-selection (called: open_renault35) and i can only choose spa as track in that mod wich sucks btw. And then when i enter track and fire up engine, it sounds exactly the same as the original!....?
Thanks for the mod, but sadly, there's something weird going on from my end. I downloaded and installed the mod. The icon comes up on the mod selecter, and that works. The thing though is it still uses the stock mod's sounds.. I was wondering if I'm doing something wrong?
Uhmm I think that you must uninstall original mod and after install my mod. I think... but if anyone can package the mod correctly, I send him the files...
This is how I play with good sounds : - Launch single player - Choose all tracks / cars - Choose in car list the FR3.5 you like (you should see 2 same numbers for one car, never mind...) - in race settings ==> car filter, select both FR35 & JDT (not FR3.5) Start the race, it should be ok.
