Didn't the creators at one point leave the door a bit open, with regards to a possible conversion to rF2? Please correct me if this is only wishful thinking of a faulty memory on my part.
I think Mak Corp have a version in conjunction with some official partner of the Formula E, it is on rF2 and goes around all the events. Mak Corp said they hoped to get permission to release to the general Public.
I watched this over the week-end, these things have to be more expensive to get into than fossil fuel powered. I mean you have to have at least two cars to even think of running a race and that wouldn't include a back up car(swapping cars instead of power units- makes sense tho), and even with two cars, once the power is used up on one and something goes wrong with the second, your done. Interesting though, last couple of laps and everybody down to about 3 -6% power, quite exciting. I wouldn't think rF2 would even have the supporting rules for this new stuff.
