Another driver has confirmed this is happening. If you run a Practice session with any of the Formula E cars (2019-2022) the AI cannot complete Qualifying. When Practice of any length is run, the AI will start qualifying with less than 10% charge. Some can complete an outlap, timed lap and inlap, but others (e.g. those who start with 8%) do not have enough charge to finish one timed lap. If you skip Practice, all of the AI start Qualifying with much greater charge (38%) and are able to complete the Qualifying session. More details with screenshots can be found here: https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/practice-qualifying-confusion.73850/ . There is no reason for FE cars to start any session with less than full charge.

There is also a problem with McLaren Formula 1 (I tested the MP4/8). If you do free practice and then go to qualifying, the AI does 3-4 laps and then goes back to the pits and never resumes qualifying. At most, he takes to the track after 3-4 qualifying laps and then runs out of fuel. Excuse my english....
