Thanks! Pic 1 - that sounds great and I totally understand. I thought as much that Pit Exits could cause a problem. Pic 2 - that makes sense and I can use it to explain Pic 3 - thanks. It was the same on the right hand curb on chicane 1 (just after the pit exit) My response to the driver was that either way, they were very close to the line. but if you can fix it too, that would be fantastic.
Also, maybe you can fast track my search, where do I change the number of Track Cuts to a drive through? Or is this, some sort of calculation that the GDB entries cause? Reading info on the GDB, it sounds like there is a threshold: CutWarningThresh = 1.75 // Threshold for warning (or disallowance of lap) CutStopGoThresh = 2.75 // Threshold for immediate stop/go penalty it would be good to have it as 5 cuts = drive thru or is a track cut always a stop/go?
You need to edit the player.JSON "Track Cuts Allowed" parameter for that. Those track GDB values are "magic numbers", they do not denote laps, rather what the threshold for the cut detection algorithm to register a cut is. The higher you put the number, the more time you can gain by cutting without it registering.
do we need to update all references or is there a specific one for a multiplayer race - CHAMP, CURNT, GPRIX, MULTI, RPLAY? also, -what do they all mean? -is there a manual for these files?
We have been driving through the first chicane and no track cut or penalty. Practice & Quali - doesn't cancel lap Race - no penalty
Hi, can you please confirm what you fixed so I know what to test? Also, I deleted the original file via rF2, but I still have two 0.7d files in packages. Is that a problem?
Looks like you uninstalled but didn't delete mate. I removed the pit exit last tyre and placed one at the front. I tweaked the pit exit second and third corner chicane cut detect and the back chicane cut detect on every apex. I might just pop another tyre in the way of that last pic you posted to force a slow down.
I have uninstalled and deleted both old and new files. I can't seem to get the original 0.7d removed from the Package view. We installed on the server, although I have not been back on the server since getting the new file and uninstalling and deleting.
Have a look down further in your content manager where type is mod, there’s probably a vmod there locking things up, uninstall vmod, then you should be able to get rid of the 0.7d package
Hey mate, I hope you are well. thought I would give you an update on the weekend. Saturday afternoon, about 2pm, I hopped on the track and could not see the curves, the red and white ones. I had been sick since Thursday and had not personally tested your latest update. I immediately thought there was a problem with the track, I tried checking with people, but no one was responding, and with a lack of feedback I made the choice to roll back to the previous version. But then we had some problems on the server and could only get 7c to work. So in the end, we did not run 7d (my mistake), but we also figured out, the curbs were not showing due to the rain. Is that something that is due to how the files are setup? I now know if it is raining, test the track again in the dry.
Wow mate I have never seen that before it might have something to do with the latest update to rF2 PBR and rendering etc. This track hasn't been updated to use the latest rendering so it could very well be an issue with that or the way the new puddle maps work. I might see if one of the guys has time to help me fully update this track to the latest standards.
Hi! It worked for the right side of the track, but not for the left side. How do I change the position on the left side?
shift key + (L / R) arrow keys for right side shift key + (Up / Down) arrow keys for left side if you add the ALT key the adjustment is more precise
