    Hello All,

    A few technical questions:

    * What is the frequency of the FFB output in rFactor2?
    * What is the frequency at which the steering wheel input position is read?

    Thanks,

rF 2 physics engine is rated at 400Hz so my blind guess is, that FF works at such frequency... but sometimes your limiting factor might be your steering wheel.
Logitech's G25/G27 communicate at 500Hz but T500RS at 100Hz (but I've heard Thrustmaster is working on that).

That's pretty amazing. How do you know that?

    What about Fanatec CSR?

ISI said that some time ago.

    Very cool. Thanks.

rF2 puts out telemetry at 110Hz. I wonder if FFB is the same?

    OK,

so, I interpret this as there has this far not come any reliable information on this from ISI.

If ISI staff please could verify the correct numbers that would be very nice.

    Thanks,

I'm pretty sure it's 100Hz. So 4 cycles of physics for each cycle of telemetry.

Yes, 400Hz is the rate for both client and dedicated server now.

No, a manufacturer had their driver set at that and had to adjust it for us.

    Thanks for replying Tim.

Shall I interpret this as that the FFB torque output from rF2 to Direct Input is output @400Hz?
And the same for the reading of steering wheel position, @400Hz?

TM worked with us and changed things for us. Make sure you're using their latest drivers.

Yes I thought it was 100Hz also.
