This is my second HUD, my favorite. It is inspired in the F1 Challenge, but I placed it at the bottom, for not interfere with the mirrors. Here are two screenshots and the download link: Link 1.0 version: http://www.mediafire.com/download/0x22gxhj1ar75ux/F1_Challenge_Style_HUD_v10.rfcmp I think that it is not necessary to explain the functions, I only will explain some things. On the right side, above the fuel indicator, shows the time difference with the car ahead and behind. As you know, is very useful in race, but not for qualifying and/or testing, simply because it isn't useful information in these sessions, but I can't put it only for race, is for all sessions. I have also put the remaining session time, very useful in qualifying, but don't work in race, even if it's a time race. It's something that ISI should fix (I guess). For me, it's very comfortable because it allows me to see important information at the time that I see the condition of the tyres in the status window. I hope you enjoy. Regards.
would you consider making a tutorial for this mate i would love to make some HUD that would suit my exact needs But very good job, i will give it a try
I'm very busy with other projects, I still have to finish Bahrain, it will have five layouts. Also, it's no easy for me make a tutorial in english, sorry.
Thanks for this McNolo, really nice, I'll be using this one. Think what would make it better is if you make the driver tracker icons half the size. And the message box text smaller too so to fit more lines of text in the box. Other from that, very good.
We can expect to in the future new releases HUDs? P.S. You could write a manual on the native language! I'm sure there are people who will translate it to english!
I am not going to make more HUDs, at least not at this time. About the tutorial, maybe more later, when I have more time.
I just tried the first one released (F1 style). Is there an option to change the color to green? Red lettering has always been a bit harder for me to read quickly in cockpit (I hate driving some Audi and Nissan cars at night) I like this display as well. It has a lot of useful info. Thanks for the good work.
I learned myself, researching and making test. It is not too complicated really, you do the graphical elements and then you fit everything in the HUD editor.
