It's really hard to distinguish the 97T and the 98T, for now all I've seen is the difference on the latter part of the side pods, sometimes there were aerodynamic appendixes right before the rear wheels (on the 97T).

For ChiefWiggum here's a pic of the back of the car:

I think ChiefWiggum's car looks pretty accurate:

not sure, but I think the rear wing is different on some tracks (slow or fast)

Yep, probably different aero kits were used for different tracks.

Your model lookes amazing, only a small difference in the air inlets to the turbos, the real ones were more rounded on top as you can see in the image after your post! All the rest looks great

Holy crap on a cracker does that look great! If i may, try to make the nose look "fatter" like endor's image points out. Yours looks very "70s"... you know what I mean?

maybe the tyres look a little over-inflated, compared to that photo? particularly the fronts?

besides that, i want to say thanks, and i think it's cool that you're doing this, and so fast, and also not getting carried away by all the polygons and small bits :D

Became much more noticeable in the 90s. Remember McLaren sticking a second rear wing on the engine cover for more rear end grip.

An important thing to show with the car is that it always looked glued to the ground, like as if there was barely any space between the undertray and the ground.

The 98T is in Assetto Corsa. Could use that for reference.

They don't scan their models like iRacing. First or third-party, some models are built with varying levels of discrepancy, as aa generic "season car" or off restored vehicles, so there can be minor to key differences.
