I have few question to people who know their stuff with these cars. What do you estimate that top speed of these cars should be? Project cars videos seems to have top speed with lotus (saw some videos. could be wrong): 260 km/h Isi Bt44 has around 295 km/h https://www.grandprixgames.org/read.php?1,500616,501603 This site says that top speed at nord was 281 km/h in 1973 (cars were lighter that yer) This video shows 1976 car in action and seems like it's slower on straight than on my mod. I have feeling that real top speeds should be around 280-290 with these cars. What do you guys think?
From what I've reseached 280/290 is pretty close, probably go with that, watching these films hearing these cars seems no sim yet has been able to capture the true sounds of these cars from 73' to 79'

Tested top speed with Tyrrel at kyalami 1975 (old rf1 conversion version) and reaching 305km/h was quite easy. From wiki: Jody Scheckter driving the new lightweight Tyrrell 007 set a record through the speed trap of 190 mph. So if that was record I think it was too easy for me to reach that speed. Ferrari was going over 310 km/h. So will reduce top speed for next build. EDIT: made conversion of rF1 1975 paul ricard track. Ferrari top there was 325!!! So that was 20 km/h too much according that oldseb and wiki article.
My source says 190mph / 306 km/hr for the Tyrrell 007 at the end of the Mistral, so essentially in agreeance with your source.
Tried the mod yesterday.. what can I say? WHAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Now it behave how I would have expected! Great job! The only little glitch I've seen is that at zolder79, jumping over one of those tall curbs, the car got stopped instead of jump over it, maybe the collider of the front wing or the underside is a tad too low. (It could even be the track, but the same problem occured in another situation, and in that case it was the front wing too low. (it was a Brabham). Cheers and keep up the good job!
Ah, there is another little thing : in the garage, it appears that some settings have hidden increase/decrease steps, I mean, I click on the roll bars for example and to see change the value I need to click it some times. It seem that values change in tiny increments that are not visible.
Superb. Am I hearing right and top gear is very close to 4th? Something happens to the engine note like a gear change but the revs are hardly different before and after.
