When I run rF2 the loading stops. I bring up task manager and have to close this window. All is fine after closing. View attachment 13319 I've got the dmp file if needed. It doesn't want to upload here for some reason. Anyway, I tried a 10 lap race @ Silverstone National with the Civics and 29AI. Silky smooth results, just brilliant so far. Thanks ISI.
Same problem here, launching the MP/Online option with the 64 bit executable. View attachment 13329 except closing the window does nothing for me. I have to kill the rf2 process, and restarting it I get exactly the same problem. Can't use anything, no SP and no MP.
Making a clean install certainly solves the problem. You may leave your packages and userdata folders to keep the old settings. That's what I did. No more pop-up windows and problems with launching. Great build!!
Yes, I had installed over an older unstable. Cleaning up everything and reinstalling 767 solves the problem for me.
It's not the same thing, but I thought better not to open a new thread. When downloaded the mediafire file with Chrome, at the end it reports: Malicious file, chrome has blocked it, and Chrome doesn't rename the temporary file to the final name. But renaming it manually it works.
I got that too, I thought about reporting it so that ISI can look into it but forgot. You can also go to the downloads page in Chrome and unblock the file there instead of renaming it manually.
I get the "Could not load BlankButton0000.bmp" error too. In 32bit and 64 bit, Single and Multiplayer. I did an upgrade from build 660. Alt-tabbing out from the freezed blue start screen and pressing Return key on the error window solves the problem and rfactor2 loads fine.
I would suggest installing a separate location for the unstable version. Overwriting an existing install could cause issues.
