Engine manual start

Is it possible to disable auto start in pit?
Would prefer to start it manually every time I load a track.

 

going all the way back to SCGT, F12000, F1Challenge, GTR, rf1, GTR2,rF2 and the other offshoots...the answer is... no.
You CAN shut the engine off and restart it before leaving the garage.

 

It would be an interesting option to add when the new UI is ready. Nowadays it would probably need to be fit in player.json file as an adjustable option. If you made it default you would end up with many support questions saying that the car is broken in the garage.

I have to start the car every time I use any car,I haven’t changed a thing either,I thought it was like this as default

 

Even with this I think if you dont set a key for starter/ignition the engine will start automatically

make sure you include the comma. "Start Engine":False,

 

Wow thanks for this I have been meaning to ask if this could be made an option you select.

 

It doesn’t work. The engine still start automatically.

 

Does the engine restart by itself out on the track if you stall? If so, the torque curve of the engine is shaped incorrectly and the engine magically has enough torque without any throttle to start the engine.
What car are you using?
