    Im still working on it and alot to do, i hope it will be ready tomorow but we are definitly close now.

    And one thing is that i will have to brake the mod in separeted cars as with new build alot needs to be updated. All cars, every part reflections need to be adjusted and reimported into game plus i need to test everything during diferent day times to as at some point they look good and on other time of day they look to reflective now.

    Will the sound "bug" be fixed in the Aston Martin. Tested it with the new build and a fresh installation and the sound gets very compressed after 5000rpm

    I didnt notice any sound bug sofar actually and no reports from others on that. Not sure what should be fixed than there?

    I believe there were lots of general comments on the sounds being not bass-y enough and sounding very 'flat'.

    Below 5000 rpm the Aston sounds very basy and raw and over 5000rpm it gets thin and very compressed. Can do a video to show what I mean.
    Tried a diffrent soundcard and a fresh installation, so I dont think it is system rellated. I will upload a vid in a couple of minutes.

    You are right: reaching 4800+ rpm, with headphones, you can clearely hear part of the sound disapears, like the vibration of the exhaust of the Mc laren MP4 12C GT3 from iR.
    Don't no if it is intended or not.

    Our sound guy usually wants to get some effects right and this might be intended to work like that.

    Here is an example. I crossed the "magic line" at 5000rpm a lot and you hear the sound change quite a lot and to be honest under 5000rpm it is the best sound I heard in rF2 after that not really great to be honest.

    The problem with most sound in mods is there is no dynamic range. The cars need to be quiet at low rpm's and then substantially louder at high/redline. If it is loud to start and loud in the middle and loud at the end the sound can only be "different" instead of actually louder as we expect. Ideally every mod would be set this way and we could all turn our games up to 100% volume and use this volume bumb instead of turning everything down to 30% volume which is hard limiting us to only that mediocre level. I deal with this all the time in the audio, music, movie world. Compression Kills Fidelity no matter if it is an opera singer or a throaty V10.

    You have to start everything at nominal levels and leave room for things to get loud.

    I'm sure that's anyway the plan, but if you change something for B494, will everything also still work with previous builds? I really have forced upgrades... and none of the recent builds had good performance on my machine, so B300 is still on.

    Thanks for working such a stressful weekend to bring us the goods!

    Will the window reflection issues caused by the newest build be solved on the next (today's ;)) update?

    No, i will have to go on that car after car, its alot of work to reimport everything again and i need to find right values and maybe even texture adjustments.
