Edit hdv file

Hi I now tried to see if I could open/edit the HDV for the mod we use.

I have no problems to use mas2.exe to extract the vehicles files for each team and see / open veh files. But when I try to open F1RFT mas file in mas2.exe I get the error "unknow MAS key", does anyone know how to solved this issue ?

Because i think that the hdv file is located in this mas file.

here is the string in the VEH file
HDVehicle=F1RFT.hdv

And thats the file I want to edit in.

 

The error "unknow MAS key" is because the mas is encrypted.

 

So I can only open/edit this mas file if I have the password or ?

or is their a trick to do this ?

 

You can't edit nothing. It's ISI that encrypt the mas to protect the content (on request from modders), only the provider of the mod can help you with its original files.
