So I'm new to all this and as suggested went to the Skippy car first. I got really focused the other night and got the car going well around the track without any driving aids on at all. Last night I try to drive and it's just ridiculously hard. Like I'm driving on a oil slick. After a few beers, I thought this isn't a good idea and maybe that's the problem. So this morning, I calibrate and read every hint and tip on configuring a G27 but it's unreal. I get no audible warning at all and the car just spins at even 20 mph. I also have opposite lock off and I'm not really sure what that does. But is there some setting or calibration that can make it so sensitive or is this normal???
Nevermind, I had Stability Control and Anti lock brakes off. Apparently, those make a huge difference
Did you select which car your driving, as in Regional or National, the Nationals have far better tyres than the Regional cars
Remember that if you don't save the realroad condition, when you restart the game, you will again find a green track, unless otherwise selected, this plus cold tires could make you spin at 20 mph, that if you think in mph are "just" 20... but if you think in Kmh they are near 40, I flipped a car (a real car) at that speed, it's not slow, it's a decent speed to spin.
I don't see anything in the game as far as a button goes??? Google just tells me about changing weather from default to scripted. This software seems all over the map
