is it possible to seehow someone else is driving while your in de pitlane?
rightnow you can only see the cars driving like you see on your TV

i would like to see othersdrive from the cockpit so ican see when they brake or how they corner so i can see how better drivers do it.

Although you won't get 100% fluid view of their driving, as you are viewing their online representation, not their actual inputs.

Is that the same as rfactor1? You don't see exactly?

Yes and it never can be that way via an online interaction. You see much more reality via replays which were recorded on the machine of the person you are watching.

    Thanks Tim

Interesting. So their replay of them is more accurate(most accurate) than my replay of them! And either of these is more accurate than watching on-line?

How about the ghost car? I can't remember:

    1) will have rFactor2 have a ghost car demonstrating lines and brake points?
    and if so
    2) how accurate can it be as a guide?
    3) how is will its performance be generated?

That was reason why in leagues replays from both participants of incident were asked to see who if any was responsible, or that is how I have experienced it to be done when I still used to do online races in leagues (surely different sim but this is same with every sim)

Ghost car, as far as I understand, is then recorded same way as replay from your own driving, so there is not much of difference, but of course it would be sensible to save computing power by not having ghost running full physics, location and direction would be quite enough so it will serve it's purpose, but I have not even seen rF2 ghost car and never really used such in any sim or game, so my conclusions might contain some drastic errors, it is just what I find most logical based on data I currently have.

    It's true to some extend.
But GPL or iRacing have no problem with satisfying quality of remote cars visualisation. So problem must be somewhere else.

I was asking about the ghost car and this whole question is about learning as a training tool!
