Did'nt wanna Off Topic the original thread, anyway decided not to add my name for two main reasons: 1) I mainly race against the AI so it'd be annoying to keep kicking my AI personality out the race! 2) I'm also "in the crowd" so I'm already "in" the game....and yes I see I should'nt actually be racing either as I cant be in two places at once anyone else not wishing to AI themselves?
Well, one thing that might be nice about it, is that you have a car with your number in there, and you can drive it without having to paint it.
I like painting my own cars though Tim, if you did a Blue & White Striped car on the otherhand I could be tempted
Funny to see a LOT of names in there that I never or almost never have seen on this (part of the) forum....now they can "make name"; they are long time supporters of the game. I wonder if that is something they look at; did they ever posted here on the rF2 section BEFORE this thread, did they even contribute and so on I don't wanna; don't see the use of it.
No offense but I don't want to be immortal either b/c I already feel like I'm in two places at once LOL
+1 I noticed this aswell! It's a great thing by ISI to do, shows a cool community spirit. Ones that are chosen, should be the guys that contribute on this forum with discussions alot or to the sim itself. One name that stands out for me is Techade, that guy transformed rF1 for many and i'm sure he will do the same again with rF2 in some form at some point.
I also notice that, I recognize most names on here but there are only a handful of people in that thread I have ever seen. You can tell because they all have a single digit post count. But that's not the point, they bought the sim so they got the right to be part of the community!
Well i didn't mean essays pur-say when suggesting discussions, james westy no longer posts here, so essays are long gone But i think it's fair that the regulars get the chance, which i'm sure that's the way ISI themselves will view it anyway. If i did get a vote though, i would vote for Mr Real Feel
I'd vote for techade, buddha, and Lazza. Also the Italian guy with the hard hat and the Finnish guy with the thumbs up picture because they made me chuckle. hehe.
Dsouhääns Roudsoula - I think it sounds very cool and mascular! (Sorry bit of an inside joke of Finnish names pronounced by English people)
If I had something useful to say, I'd post more often. Usually I am learning from others, or when I think of something, someone else has already picked up on it. Seems fair though - those who contribute get their contributions recognized
