Do I need to keep this weekend free?

They could release today. Tomorow they start dealing with the suport issues. It would be much easier.

 

We are at over 47000 views and 38 pages in only 5 days.

 

I'm sure most of the issues that will arrise can be solved by help of the community members here. If it's related to payment, then not so much. But that has already been tested hasn't it? Release it already ffs

 

In terms of pricing both those will be the same, things will be in-place for the beta.

The same chance as any other time. There may be soon need to try to calm the community down a little bit, and a slower release to do that. We'll see.

But not being warned about it isn't any longer a promise or a factor. If it were a final product then the 'come get it!' warning would fit, but it's a beta, and we do want it to be understood there's no rush.

It very well could be higher. That is a screenshot, not an installer after public release.

You probably do. Little things like where to put rfmod would have confused people for a while.

Your standard racing tire runs a lower (half at times) PSI than a many road tires and is often subject to more deformation, when you consider we were doing crazy things like jumping them off kerbing I think it looked pretty good. Try looking for some slo-motion footage of real race cars in similar circumstances.

Also, the tire model nor the animations are completed.

I think the point is: if Denton can race through Spa and Monaco on the RC, why can't we?

The payment system should be OK. So I think that the community would be cooled down by being busy in bug-tracking...

 

I don't fully understand it either. It sounds more negative than positive though.

 

tim, what do you mean slower the release?? what do you mean dont release it, because everyones asking for it?? when i read the article in sim magazine, about rfactor 2 beta didnt he say you will be able to try it yourself in the next few days... where did he get this information from?? this was published on the 29th of december.. so not true hey??

Seems a little strange reason not to release a beta until he calms down, I think we will even more nervous.

This is just speculation here but maybe they are a bit surprised at the interest in the open beta. They are now starting to understand that this forum is going to become flooded with not so nice posts after open beta release and are now having second thoughts about their plan. Again my post is pure speculation!

 

having a activation code dont mean jack... you still got to wait for the exe to be released...
