Being someone who loves taking great screenshots, I also tend to use the "Zoom" a lot in free cam, however I have to be more careful when using it in rF2 because if I do it even slightly too much the shadows start to disappear. This also happens if you are past a certain distance from an object, however I think that distance is way too short. The wierd part is though, if you come in from a large distance the shadow will appear slowly, then disappear and then reappear again when you are even closer. I've attached 3 screenshots showing the progression of the disappearing shadows using zoom.
