dinput8.dll - magical FFB fix or the dll from hell?

    That file was originally made for a mod for Shift 2 to reduce input lag with low framerates. It really has nothing to do with FFB.

    I don't have any input lag or low framerates in rF2.

    So technically it has nothing to do with FFB, but the result is a change in what you feel through your FFB steering wheel. Have you tried it in Shift 2, GTR2 (didn't work at all...for me), rFactor or rF2? If so, please describe your experience. Thanks.

    I've used in Shift1, Shift2, and pCARS. All it did for me was make the input lag less. I did not notice a change in FFB. It worked very well in the Shift series, but it felt very strange in pCARS.

    Since I get very good FPS and no input lag in ISImotor games, I've not felt any need to try it in any of those.
