Are the following tracks available for rfactor 1? If not, what are the chances they will come out for rf2? Dundrod Isle of Mann full mountain course Machwerx Solitude Rouen Essarts Urbanya Jops Siffert I absolutely LOOOOVE these tracks in GPL but since it's such as hassle getting GPL to run properly on my machine, as well a few bugs here and there, it usually isn't worth the time and effort. Would much rather drive these circuits in a modern sim like rF2
Truly FULL 60km long Isle of Mann doesn't exist for GPL either, there is "only" the 24km abridged version. Which does exist for rfactor as well, but it is unauthorized conversion and not looking that great. Never heard about Urbanya but everything else is there for rf1.
Max and osello, very much appreciated for your replies! Your posts makes me want to hunt down a copy of rFactor. *BUT*.....the obvious question is, how do these rF1 versions of Machwerk, Rouen, Isle of Man, Jops Siffert, Dundrod and Solitude compare to their GPL counterparts graphically? Do they share that kinda "photorealistic" look that GPL has? How's the textures, the lighting, etc?
They're all great in rfactor as well. I'm only not sure about jops siffert because I didnt really like the layout so dont remember much. But solitude, rouen and machwerk are one of my alltime favorites in rf.

Solitude is a pice of art and of the coolest layouts ever, just a shame AI has some problems with the twisty part as I prefer offline racing.
Start off a thread with 2 tracks that are RIPS !@! If you have any knowledge you already know they most likely will never have permission, not the current versions anyways. lol

I watched a quick video of the rF1 version of Dundrod, and it doesn't compare to the GPL one graphically. The GPL looks miles better. Hope if they bring it to rF2 it will be a more authentic version than the one in rF1. How often do you guys race?
