I have unistalled rfactor2 and this time installed the newest full version instead of all the update versions (as suggested in many threads)
I cannot start up joesville with either rTrainer or my own project in dev mode

    same goes with monte carlo.

all i get is ''rFactor has stopped working''
    windows can check.....etc
    close programme

Also, since I tried to tweak my controller settings I can no longer use it in single player mode.

    No Rfactor for me then?

Sounds like you have a series of issues. What did you do to uninstall rF2 before you freshly installed? Did you remove the directories from the data dir?

I only uninstalled and then re-installed, I removed nothing.
I did re-export my project after copying over the new plugins.
My point tho, is that, rTrainer and joesville wont start out of the box. (build 125)

You might want to reimport them, as it should start no problem. If you just uninstalled and reinstalled via CP, then you didn't remove the data from the data dir. A fresh install is:

    0. Download 125 full installer.

    1. Go to control panel and uninstall rFactor2.

    2. Restart

    3. Delete the rFactor2 folder from program files, if the uninstaller failed to do so.

    4. Delete everything EXCEPT the packages directory from the data directory (by default this is documents/rFactor2/

    5. Install Build 125 from the full installer.

    6. Install all the mods you saved in the packages directory.

Thank you Tim, that fixed some of my woes. I have to admit I had only ever installed the upgrade versions from the beginning.
So now I can run the engine in both single player and dev mode except my saitek controller is unchoosable in dev mode.
