Allready there are servers running "new" content of tracks mainly. Same problem as always, where do i find those mods????? Can't find anything with Google. Here's my wish, in matchmaker where there's all the modid and other info of the server, there could in the future be also an "url link" that would open in your web browser or RF2 modmanager so you could download the mod.package more easily. This would be mostly depending on Hosts to include such a link if they wanted to for a option in Dedicated Servers. Another wish: Peer to Peer autodownload for RF2 for tracks and cars/skins from Server and/or Clients. Keep up the good work!
+1 Or if direct links are not possible in the server-mod-info screen on the left then maybe the option for server admins to add more text to this box so they can inform people and direct them to a working url for mods/tracks or other usefull information. For example in our league we usualy run default mods and very small custom files to update a mod. we set the server to allow for mismatches (well we did in rf1) and a simple go-here-its-only-5mb-message would greatly help our regulars and visitors and it would enable us at the same time to keep recruiting via our servers in the same way as we did in rf1 which is very important for us as a league. Totally agree with both of you guys there, Also it would be nice to be able to see clearly what driver aids etc are enabled/disabled in the server
There are a long list of things to be added to the client's server list, including most of those mentioned.
