Creating plugins for rFactor 2 in Visual Studio

    I would like to develop some plugins for rFactor 2 with Visual Studio C++ to help me with programming in college as well as my ai series in the coming month. However I don't know how to get started. Firstly I'd like to create a TV plugin, with maybe something like an AI strategy picker in the future. Does anyone know how I can do this?
