Creating a new mod by modifying an existing car

    Tried to find a thread on this but was not able, if it has been done before I'd appreciate if you pointed me towards it.

    So anyway, the point of this thread is using existing car components as a basis for new mods, with some tweaks. In my case I'd very much like to try out the 370Z with some street tyres (partly based on the rFTrainer). Is there a way to just create a mod that uses the existing 370Z component and just changes the tyre file it uses, so that I don't have to duplicate everything?

    In rF1 I often had to make a few separate tyre sets for my collection of street car mods, and it was only a matter of making the tyre files and adjusting the upgrades list. How would I go about doing something similar in rF2?
