ISI is it possible in the future we could see, that we have to "cool" our wet tyres like in real life. So driving out into the puddles when our wets get a bit hot etc.. to avoid blistering etc. Think that would make rf2 even more realistic than is now. Or is their a sim/game/pc limitation to this?
Tyres in rF2 have had GroundConductance for a long time, maybe since the start (can't remember). This affects heat loss to the ground, or as ISI's tyretool quickstart document says: Several builds ago, they introduced WetConductance. So it is now possible for tyres to heat and cool differently based on how wet the track is, which means how wet the track surface is where each tyre is. And since the tyres do degrade due to overheating (separate to degradation due to physical wear) this does allow for the kind of effect you're describing. I can't say I've actually tested specific values with a goal in mind, yet.
