Here are tweaked FFB settings for Logitech Driving Force GT & Logitech Driving Force Pro wheels.

    Notes
    #1 No filtering required
#2 Brake effects on steer axis="1" makes them NOT present on the wheel, "0" does and its messes everything up. Bug? dont know if rF2 or Logitech bug.
#3 FFB is not very strong, but if set any stronger FFB starts clipping and feeling of front tire grip loss, slip angle, etc will suffer. Deal with it, you have a crappy wheel.
#4 Tested on DFGT and DFP but might work (copy/pasted) on G25&G27
#5 Logitech Driving force Pro is not supported with latest Logitech profiler, last version that supports it is included with the download.
#6 Let rF2 detect the wheel once, after that it loads profile allways automatic when starting session.
#7 Set (game controller/wingman Profiler) settings as follows: FFB strenght 101% (<-important!) damping 0% spring 0%

Or copy/paste to existing FFB profile:

No expert, but here's mine for the DFP:

Ok, old rF1 veteran here, checking how rF2 is doing these days.

I have a Logitech Drving force pro. After downloading the plugin, reading the OP's suggestions and testing a bit I have set TSM to 3.3%, FFB strength is 77% (for the Megane) and smoothing to 1. The thing I like most is that for instance on Loch something track in the long multi apex right hand corner you can really clearly feel the car wiggle over the bumps through the steering wheel. It feels very lively with these smaller forces. My pace isn't great yet, but I don't have much clue what temperature values for the tires to aim for yet, so that's prolly the reason. Thanks to the the OP for posting this. This is the controller file, no idea if there is room for improvement:
