Since this video has caused quite a controversy. Wondering what others think. Billy seems to think the Porsche Cup car is broken and "s397 needs to go back to the drawing board with their physics"
Finally got around to trying out all of the new content released recently! Well done S397.
The old and still lovely Corvette GT2 fills pretty well with the new GT3's. It would be nice if someone in the community update it is a great car.
The AC and iRacing versions handle the same, so I'm told. So it might be an issue on Billy's end. Sometimes the issue isn't the car, but the driver.
i think it's a private mod. can you send link via pm for test it?
This is a conversion of a gamestockcar mod so I'm not sure if I should upload it.
Ford Zakspeed Capri with sounds from the original drm rfactor mod.
I've driven the iRacing version a ton. It drives very similar to the rf2 version. I agree the rf2 has "the volume turned up" to a degree, but to say S397 needs to go back to the drawing board like Billy did is ridiculous. There is definitely a pattern between cars being challenging and needing to be "learned" and Billy not liking it. I find the cars that are challenging, but yet make sense, are the most enjoyable cars to drive
Conversion from rF1?
It's the old "GPL is impossible" whine.
Nope- You just can't drive it.
I found ACC version very close to rf2 version too, with abs set to 0. Aggressive setup is better than rf2 default. Tires are very different. With low tire pressure you feel like you driving w/o tires or on square tires. Also it's easy to catch a tire puncture if tire pressure is too low.
Thanks...Yes this car mod is from the rfactor DRM revival mod.
New video at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.
Porsche 991 GT3 Cup is just brilliant, stock setup isn't just match for Nordschleife, but after minor changes car starts to give you vibes. I'm just average driver and learning more on it, just can't get enough of it .
Slowly pumping up speed and opponent level, currently around 7:05 and 93% opponent strength (44% aggression), no driving aids used.
