You can post your videos of rFactor 2 in this thread! It might be helpful to mention either "hotlap" (and the track name) or "trailer" (if it's an edited 'trailer' production) in your post to allow people to easily find your video using thread search. Old video thread here (now closed).
My heart is bleeding! Time to move on, I guess. Let's make even better videos guys! Hooray!! Oh, I just realised this thing is now sticky. Cool! Sticky Icky Trailer Thread!
Crazy stuff! Nice video. 3:43 is pretty hardcore lol. What software did you make your intro with? Blender?
Hotlap with amazing combo T280 @ Loch Drummond Long. Video quality is representative of my hardware ; not rF2's graphic capabilities. Also, I am aware that opponent volume is turned off.
Round four of the Renault Clio FKR Cup held at Poznan Circuit. There is a link to the results in the "about" section, to Full Race Results, where all the lap times and positions are recorded....Please Enjoy.
In this video, I can see the same problem that i dealt with recently with my nvidia card ... some of the trees and things are translucent. I fixed the problem by lowering the detail settings and so on by one notch (which I stumbled upon by accident because i was getting terrible framerate at silverstone). what is that? It should be noted that I recently reinstalled windows 7 and have now the latest nvidia driver (3.31 i think) ... previously was on nvidia 3.23 and had no problems running everything on full at silverstone and no translucent trees.
The translucent trees etc can also be fixed by altering this line in your player: Transparency AA="0" // Soften edges around alpha test objects It`s at 1 by default, change it to 0.
ahh - so it was probably me turning down the AA for framerate issues that fixed it then. I had it at max and lowered it to 4x i think
Yeh, it could have been. I`ve only ever altered the line in the player for this problem but it probably does the same thing.
Hey mate! To avoid ghosting in your videos, record your footage at the same framerate you are going to render it at. 30 fps is the best I believe when uploading to YouTube because their maximum allowed framerate is 30 I think. Correct me if I'm wrong. Greez Rob
