I have never gotten comfortable with the GT500 tires. They feel ...different ... from the tires in the GT3 & GTE packs. The tire tends to skid over the surface. I think I read the tires were updated at least once, probably around the time the GT3 pack was released, but they continued to have the behavior that feels like the sidewalls are too stiff or something, not allowing the contact patch to cover the racing surface. Drive the Calloway GT3 Corvette and then load up the GT500 Nissans. You'll feel the difference.

 

Still lovin' the Longford and Callaway...just a few exiting the pits screens.
