Not sure if this helps but: http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/threads/invisible-cars.56319/ Google search for "invisible cars problem rfactor". It might be same problem not sure. Does it happen only after a certain amount of ai/player cars join?
hmm, well, seems i cant do much with the new drivers, 3 BSOD's in a row. so far.. not even loaded anything. .
Ah that, it means you did run out of GPU ram, you need to reduce texture detail, track detail, resolution or number of vehicles on track. Also shadows, AF and AA can consume ram a lot so lowering those might help. Press ctrl+f twice to see GPU ram meter on top left of screen, long green bar is good, tiny green bar, yellow bar or red bar is not good, constantly flashing red under that bar thing means data is constantly transferred to GPU memory which also is bad.
reverted back. nothing on malaysia so i'm assuming its probably the reflect plane for that track, i'll look at it.
hmm, now after the reboot, its gone! cars look fine. hmmm.. edit: although the rain added a kind of weird darkness to the cars
yeah, it showed back up under sunny weather and the way it reacts and the parts of the car it shows on makes me think its the reflect plane. i'll mess with it later.
I'm thinking it might have something to do with reflections but I cant say for sure, it was just my first gut feeling when I saw it. At least start there and see if you can trim a few things up.
do RaceSurface_## need to be sequential? Im having this same problem on another track but the only difference is my track pieces are missing an #05 on purpose.
