I have tried converting Virginia road course from rfactor to rfactor 2 and every thing is fine till I try to start in ModDev mode and the cars seems to be floating over the track, please help I have tried every thing I know to fix it. Thanks!!!! I figured it out. I was starting in the pits on the grass, which the material wasn't named grass which made the car not being able to drive on.
How EXACTLY did you fix this. I have converted some tracks and they are doing the same thing, either floating or certain sections are like ice. I attribute this to the texture too, I just don't know how to fix. I have 3DSimED.
You have to match the material names of the surface you are on with the entries in the tdf file: ie. road, grass, rumble......... I am quite a noob but that seems to be your problem
