When selecting a car I like to be able to see some information about that car: H, sequestial or paddle shift whether the car has some form of auto clutch or sync meaning that clutch is not required once moving Engine size, power, genral top trump stats Just some info as to what to expect. I like to set my G27 up as best I can to match the car and this would help enormously especially as more mods become available. Obviously, mod makers would need to provide this text along with each car.
For the sake of wishing, the first 2 items could be more than just an info. Something like you have the option on Controller Settings to select "Follow car configuration" and then be given 3 sets of button bindings for H-Pattern, Sequential and Paddle. That way it would always select the corresponding one without you having to mess with it all the time. Kinda like AC does.
