Is Euskotracks planning to update their tracks in the near future?

I'm asking because for example Canyelles54 has easily top 3 layout in rf2 atm imo.

This track would need AIW and grapchical tweaks.

Depending on what you understand by near future... Right now the full Euskotracks team is concentrated in the upcoming 24 hours of Lemans hosted by Sim-Racing.org, for which we have classified in LMP1 class. After that we will concentrate again in our tracks.

I agree with you that the first released tracks can be easilly improved in terms of graphics and AIW. However, we are not releasing content with the frequency in the past, due to obvious reasons:

    - Having too many versions of a track provokes confussion in the community when online playing, due to the vmod system

    - We need to learn some new techniques to get full advantage of rf2 graphical capabilities. Up to now, we have been using BTB to build tracks which clearly limits modding features, especially regarding shaders, billboarding, movement... Object creating or tweaking is not such a problem since we use google sketchup, which has a nice library that saves a lot of work.

But it clearly is our intention to improve the quality of existing tracks to a good level. I cannot provide you an exact data for this since it depends basically in my ability to find those techniques in the web. As most of you already know I am not a 3ds max fan and I think I have no choice but to pass through that.

Euskotracks has posted a new layout/update at RFC. It is a 6.8km version vs. the earlier 5.4. Better textures, new and different track-side objects, much of it altogether re-imagined, and a more dynamic track surface.

    Great updates, thanks :)

Both tracks still have some AIW issues, especially Canyelles but Black Hole Ring is much better now with AI. And great gfx updates.

 Didn't think it was necessary, considering. Not sure how you were checking, but...
