I'm low on space on my C drive. So I've unsubscribed to all Workshop content, deleted the content in the Workshop folder, and installed content manually. However, Steam keeps re-subscribing paid content that I've unsubscribed from. Changing the permission of the Workshop folder to Administrator only stops the downloading of paid content, but this also stops all Steam content downloads which I don't want to do. Does anyone know of another way of stopping paid content from downloading?

    Last I heard, you can't.

You could make a symbolic link to point the content folder to another drive, and keep it off C. There's a thread here somewhere on it, or google mklink.
