can't launch the configuration tool

I'm trying to launch the configuration tool so I can play the game in VR but it just doesn't start, any help would be greatly appreciated,

There is no reason that should prevent the config tool from launching if your install of rF2 is sound. Have you tried both the original and new Ui options? Does rF2 run properly?

 

I've uninstalled and reinstalled tge game and still no avail, from what i can see the game runs fine

 

In the new ui, b you have the option to play rf2 or run the config tool. in the old ui, the config tool is only found once you reach the loader screen.(gear icon second from the top.) try both methods.

 

I have the same problem with a second installation of RF2. The tool works normally with steam version (both old and new ui).

 

What doesn't start, the config tool or the launcher?
If it's the launcher create a link on the desktop from the Steam app and launch rF2 from the link.
