can't go over 63 mph

I installed and got rfactor 2 to work, but when I played it my car wouldn't go faster then 62mph and even if I shifted higher it was locked at the speed. I turned off all the assists and nothing worked, I was in practice. Does anyone have any ideas whats wrong?

 

Have you turned of the pit limiter..just a thought

 

Certainly your "pit limiter" is on. Go into controller setup and assign "Pit limiter" to a key on your wheel, so you can turn it on and off.

 

I believe it is listed as Speed Limiter in the menu. It is under the Driving Tab in Controls.
Please don't think I am being a smartass, as that isn't why I am posting. The OP is obviously new to rF2 and might not know what you mean. LOL, I often call it the 'rev' limiter, but that is certainly NOT what it is, since it doesn't limit revs.

Yes, for sure good you clarified the correct name, being new to rf2 it's even harder to find a non existing function
