Hey guys, just bought rF2 today and I've been having serious issues. First, Its impossible to run anything other than Dev mode. If I click on Single Player, my cursor changes to the loading symbol and then it stops, and nothing happens. Same thing with online. Also, I don't know why, but whenever I go back to re-configure my settings, it sets everything back to default. And finally, whenever I try to launch the mod manager, it just says its stopped working, and then it crashes. Please help, I've been wanting to play this so badly after already having troubles with just purchasing the game!
Hello! I have the same problem. Due to this thread I tried to launch the dev-mode...And It Works! But always when I try to drive in single-player mode the game crashes. I have no possibility to see a crash message... Always "...rfactor 2 has stopped working..." my System: iMac Core2Duo 3Ghz 12GB RAM running Windows 7 32 bit (with 3.5 GB RAM useable)
Try to install it to C:\rFactor2 or something similar (install your settings to the same folder). For some reason getting it out of the Program Files folder seems to help some people to get it to work.
I assume you downloaded the RFMods ??? If you just got the 432 mb install it only has the dev track. the other 2.3gb mods are all the cars and tracks.
