Changing the HUD in the settings without exiting the session doesn't work. It's required to go back to the main menu and restart the session.

As far as I know it has always been like this, in the future I don't know if that can be changed, but up to now, it has always been necessary to exit the race session to the main rfactor page

I mean in this case the option to change it in the graphics menu when in a session could be removed, as it does not do anything anyway.
Hope they can fix it to be changeable in the session though.

I hope they can fix it because reloading the track just to change the HUD is less than convenient.

Also, it would be great that it was a setting per car, like the FOV, so we could have different HUDs selected automatically for some cars.

I agree, what I do is to select a small circuit (oval like) and no AI cars, so I can test the huds faster before keeping one.

btw @Coutie ... a little quirk with the 'new' HUD... in case it wasn't catch yet...

When the engine is off... or if the AI is in control... the text goes a little off canvas... in some display like 'car info'...

Tested with nvidia surround... but should also happen in single.
