I can no longer set any control assignments. Upon clicking on any control I want to set, it immediately assigns he button "Pause" (no idea what that actually maps to). I initially thought it might be an issue with my bluetooth keyboard/mouse and maybe it thought it was stuck pressing a key, but then I tried a regular usb keyboard/mouse and still had the same issue. I then tried downgrading rF2 to the previous stable to release, but the issue still persists. Any ideas what's going on?

try actually assigning Pause to the P key. Get that cleared first. Then save your profile and then try to assign other functions. Good luck.

Do you have an xbox controller or something plugged in? Could be a phantom button press from that.

I suspect some other device (USB) could be interfering with detection.
As Coutie suggested, a game controller could be involved.

I've also had similar issues with other sim-gear having corrupted or out of date firmware (such as Fanatec), which caused axis / button assignment conflicts in rF2.

I'm experiencing the same issue, using Fanatec CSL DD and Heusinkveld Sprint pedals with the recent "release-candidate" build.
The issue only appears when I'm using my VR headset (Varjo Aero). I can make controls settings outside of VR and then switch back as a workaround, but it's very inconvenient.
Is there a bug tracker where I could register this as a bug? Thanks!
