Suddenly, this morning online is grayed out. rF2 lost (deleted?) my email and password. When I try to login with my email and password (I forget password, but I only have 2-3 that I might used, I checked all of them), it returns - "No account exists with these credentials". I read in other tread that one can copy old backup copy of rFactor.credentials to AppData\Roaming\.rFactor. I have such backup, and I copied it, now when I try to login it shows email and password fields filled up, but still returns "No account exists with these credentials" when I click "Login"!! So I can not login. UPD. Ups, sorry. Found the password. Now it logins, but does not remember, but this is other problem. DELETE THIS THREAD PLS.
It seems that most of the rFactor 2 community is experiencing this issue. The bug appeared in conjunction with the server update that ISI started this past Thursday. I think that the community is simply finding ways around the bug hoping that ISI will announce a fix soon.
strange things happening :S Everything ok here... Hope you get it working Magzire, Corvette race soon
rF2 people should know to backup the roaming folder, there is enough threads of " rFactor2 backup " In fact search that phrase in Google see what you get. You get this thread .......look at Post #7 lol http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/12274-rFactor-2-backup-manager Sorry but I can't help but wonder sometimes...... lol I posted my fix and no one even acknowledged it. Using Batchrun all you ever do is click your rfactor2 icon and it is done for you every time. Once I thought about it about it for a few minutes a batch command seemed logical. Do me till a fix comes.
Just here to play the game. Not learn the mechanics of installation But very helpful post Durge. I will also try that batch file, thanks!
I totally agree.....PLEASE ISI.....fix that as soon as possible. It is annoying to type mail and pass in, again and again and again....
