BUG: AI without front or rear wing do same lap times like the others with downforce. It was a big bug in rF1 too. Please-please-please, do something with the downforce problem... Don't release the final version of rF2 with this "feature". Oh, and please insert this into the settings menu, players/drivers are not programmers. A good sim isn't only configurable, a good sim is easisy configurable with lot of options. rF2 looks like a linux distro. You can do everything, if you read forums. It's not a good way. "AI Mistakes="0.00000" // a range of (intentional) AI mistakes from 0.0 (none) to 1.0 (sometimes). Anything above 1.0 multiplies the frequency" And this is only one thing. I really like rF2 and I think it is the best sim todays (best physics) but you sould be more creative and innovative. It's not rF1.2, its rF2. I hope you understand. I have big expectations becouse you made good games/sims in the past. Thank You!
The way to do some things via some kind of .INI-file was well discussed. Most people find it a good choice (?). For the wing problem: What car, what track, under what circumstances?? In which manner the AI have no wings? Thanks and greets Pete
I made a similar post a little while back about this with Meganes. Rear wing is about downforce not top speed. Which car/mod are you refering to?
It's a problem with all openwheel cars in rF2 (and rF1 too) AI cars with lost front or rear wing do almost the same lap times than the others with wings. It's so unrealistic. They are quick in corners too... (How without downforce and grip?)
That´s not true! I know that in rF1 with my favorite F1 mod, when they lost a wing they had the same problems as the player. In rF2 I didn´t had the chance yet to test it though...
