BTCC 90's by Cyril Cherry

Yesterday they were hidden but now they are available again.
Probably some update with the wrong visibility from author, no big issue ...
 
Small request:
Can you do that with this mod?
Reactivate ABS in-game assistants?
I mean the ABS button F9 provided by Studio 397.
It is disabled in this mod.
Which means that when you brake hard you get locked tires.
The F9 key makes driving easier for many occasional drivers.
Please bring back the ABS.
Anyone who rejects it can drive as before.
All original 397 cars always have this option!

How’s that possible? You cannot turn off the in-game assists for your mod, they always available. Try to check which key binded for anti-lock brakes helper
 
In fact, the in-game ABS assistant doesn't work properly.
I just checked it again.

no matter if I set the F9 button to
high
low
off
The front wheels always lock immediately when braking.
You keep sliding straight until you release the brake.
But the position high with F9 shouldn't be.
But this works very well on all original 397 cars.

It is the same problem as it was with the Eundurance global Mob e.g. Ginetta G60 LMP1. But they fixed it!
 
Just out of curiosity... why do you want to drive those cars with ABS enabled?

1. Because it makes driving a little more comfortable for occasional drivers. I don't have the time to spend hours adjusting to a certain brake pressure feeling.
2. Because every original 397 car offers this option. If you don't want it, you can switch it off at any time. (F9).
If I don't have this option, like now, braking often causes a lot of frustration!
I know 2-3 other race buddies who tell me it's too heavy for me and I won't ride anymore.
With ABS it's also easier for occasional drivers.

You actually can do it with a workaround. You have to set ABSGrip and ABSLevel to (0, 0)
 
That's a nice Mondeo you've made! The car is an absolute beast.

Are you planning to make the entire ('95->'99) field?

Well, well, well... these cars are, put simply, exquisite! Massive congrats to Cyril for both the choice of cars to make, and the quality in which they have been made. Stunning.

Now, does anyone know of a league that runs these please, mimicking the BTCC ideally?

I'm not exactly time rich, but if anything can get me back to league racing, this will most certainly be it...
