Honestly, I think the older ones were more realistic. No track outside Japan would ever have this type of meticulously groomed gravel traps.

Then there is the question of how (un)realistic rF2's tire tracks are if you do go in there...

This on the other hand looks amazingly realistic.

I stand corrected, but the real issue is the seam between the gravel trap and the grass. That's the worst part of the original picture, but now we see the awesome curbing seams with the grass and pavement, so I should just shut up and let Mario do his thing
