Today do some test with "Multi Layer grass" shader.
The track is on hold.
Oh yes seems very good !!
"Multi-Layer" makes a massive difference/improvement. This is now approaching what we see in other sims professionally-produced tracks. And so appropriate for the red clay under most of Road Atlanta

Could it be, that Mario is working out how to do specific tasks and techniques one at the time ? That's a way to avoid having to re-do alot of things because you find better methods after having finished the first track.
You are right. Right now only work in one turn and do all experiments and techniques.
When it's all over I repeat for the rest of the track.

Tones are looking good!
The grass-soil texture looks a bit flat (missing normal map?).
have normal. But at 12:00 we can't see it..
Or maybe need a stronger normal

I don't touch the track in weeks for a good reason. I've been busy build tracks for private and
the money talks.
