If anyone is bored, can you please try to connect to my dedicated server? "Clio Cup Test (pls try)"

Testing out a dedicated server... At work so I cannot try... would be greatly appreciated

Just tried three times but got the "Server Connection Failed" message each time...

 

great - well thanks for trying - i'll check it out tonight - added some AI so if someone wants to run some races against AI - have fun (if you can connect)

Still the same for me I`m afraid...

 

hmmmm I couldn't connect to it last night either - but someone yesterday could ... wonder what the deal is? I may give up on this as unreliable until the next build - i have had problems connecting to several servers online but others i can connect to... many are running custom mods that i can't seem to "get" either - maybe single player FTW in this build?

 

The only other server I`ve quite regularly tried to connect to was DurgeDriven`s F3 Rookies and I`ve always managed to get on there no probs although I`ve not tried yet with b125...

The times I`ve tried to get to yours BlaringFiddle5 (about 7-8 times now) it`s never let me connect...

those with connection lost, maybe be a user side problem?

 

Can't connect. Wireshark says no answer on port 54347. Is your IP 74.115....?

lol - i could not connect to it (my own server ) last night ... it is indeed 74.115.x.x I see that some other folks did connect to it. I have had some success connecting to some servers, others, not so much (including mine). I think maybe there is some difficulty with this client or dedicated server build - I'll leave it up and running in case folk who can connect want to use it. I'll give it another go when a new build comes out.

I plan to eventually actually stick some dedicated hardware in our rack here at work for some rFactor2 fun but I won't spend the coin until I see that it works consistently

 

i'm jealous - i keep seeing people connect to my server and I cannot connect to it

 

Did you try connecting with LAN?

 

If you are hosting on a PC on the same network as your gaming PC, you need to click the box for local connection before joining your own.

 

try to remove your user-side player.plr and multiplayer.ini, allow rf2 to rebuild them new, see if anything changes.

 

Did a fresh install today (deleted data folder before) and i can't connect. Other servers work without problems.
