This was occurring BEFORE the UI update occasionally, but now has returned with the new UI as well. When I choose a car, like S397 Caddy Dpi, I see the car icon, but when I click on the customize button I get the text at the top, but no image of the car or the background. I tried swapping to one of the other options like Silverstone, but nothing appears. I will say this started after my video card locked up after loading a track. I suspect some flag didn't get saved or reset due to that problem.
fixed it by new player file - but now I have to map and recalibrate, and edit player file again.... tried to compare the new and old player file but found nothing suspicious
hmph...MarcG always recomended a new player file for those having AI issues. Since that is one of the files that 'could' be affected by a crash, I'll give it a try. My video card is really becoming a pain, not only old BUT unstable. thanks
