better trackside cams

Is there a mod or a possibility for isi to improve the tracksidecams. They Imo need to be.mire zoomed in to give a better broadcast feeling. Gsc has some great camera angles as they really do zoom in naturally.

Yes. There is a cam editor in dev mode, feel free to improve those for any track you wish.

 

Sticky Cam thread in Downloadable cars, tracks and plugins or tracks forum with a head-list /download links for variations.

Would be handy.


And while you at it a Car Setup forum with separate threads or sub sections for individual cars. (cheeky )

iuve just installed the devmode, but im not sure how to use the tracks (cant see anything but joseway track) how do I use the cam editor and save it to my main game?

Create the following folders inside "ModDev\Locations\" and extract the mas files from "Installed\Locations" to these folders.

Example for Sao Paulo. You will find the folder structure in the scn-file of the layout (SaoPauloGP).

Extract the mas-file that contains the tdf-file to the main folder (SaoPaulo).
Make sure the gdb-file has "TMOD" (testing mod) in the filter properties.
