Better Pit box indicator

Please put a better pit box locator in next build. That red arrow thing is terrible.

 

agreed...the static pitcrew we had 23 months ago (and still in devmode now) was better than what we've had to put up with...or atleast allow us to change the colour to something that is easily seen which there is a line for in the files but doesn't work

 

Yeah, even just one static pit guy would be easier to spot as you come down the pit lane.

LOL, I was watching a V8 SuperTourers race (hey, it's the racing offseason!) and when on of the drivers came in for a pit stop, I was watching on tv looking for the red pitbox outline. When the driver pulled into his box, I thought for a split second "That's a big mistake, he's in the wrong box" because there was no red outline! Then I shook it off and remembered.... this is a real life race, not rF2....

 

You can't see the arrow and box? I'm half blind and have no problems seeing it.

Yes this needs to be fixed or a small work around for the time being would be great.

and at some tracks it is easier to see then others but still it is a pain.

It's not there's a prob seeing it, Dave. It's just that seeing the pit crew out there instead of a red box is more realistic and cooler. GTR2 had this feature and I always thought it was cool and immersive. A pitboard (like in GTL) option would be another feature that would make the game that much better.

It could be diferent. Hard to spot specially when theres other cars pitting. Same for the grid spot after formation lap. Yesterday we had a clio cup race and with +20 cars you need to stop literally to wait others to complete their stop so you can check wheres your place.
Its not that big issue and that we cannot race cause of it but its something that could be improved for sure.
RF1 solid red was better.

 

And you could change the colour

rF2 still has the line (or did last time I checked) but it doesn't work.
