I didn't really know whether I should put this to car modding or wishlist or bug report forum, since it is little bit unclear to me what this is. So I thought put it here if someone knows a possible workaround for this. The picture here shows what is happening. When player is driving a car, the rear axle works perfect like shown in upper image. But when you switch to AI car or replay mode, it breaks down like in bottom picture. This happens because in replay/AI the live axle suspension animation is simplified. That could be feature for performance reasons, but also a bug or something that will be eventually fixed. I was wondering if there was a workaround for this sot that it looks right in AI and replay too?
hmm...I don't know if you're referring to devmode...but have you tried using the HDV instead autodriving AI? (CTRL+I) About the replay it's strange as for me works fine...
I've a double up/down wishbone (4+1link+pushrod) not a live axle so I know this info doesnt help... BTW, have you tried using full physich AI (HDVehicle)?
Yeah independent suspensions work fine. HD AI works yes, but it doesn't help the replay which is still incorrect. But it is nice to know that HD AI because it is useful for testing purposes, thanks
just like rf1 tons of physics stuff isnt shown graphically although its being performed physically, its probably just a case of that.
