Server failed? Not Found HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found. I have a website that give little use, could be used as a mirror? regards, Corti.
A new Info button has been added at the beginning which shows extra info on the server as shown below. I am not sure how to translate the values for "Finish Type", "Allow CC Transfer", "Rules" and "Aids", so if anyone knows please let me know Hope you enjoy the update.
Finish Type = I guess, this is how the Session would be ending. Finish last Lap or finish after Time is ended. Maybe Session Termination would fit? Allow CC Transfer = Allow Custom Skin Transfer Rules = Maybe Parc Fermet Rules? Aids = Driving Aids
Great progress! Some information: Race Finish Criteria#":"-2=%laps, -1=%time, 0=%laps&time, 1=laps, 2=time, 3=laps&time" Loose Content Transfer#":"Allow clients to share virtual vehicles or custom skins, 0 = nothing, 1 = just skins, 2 = skins and vehicles" Flag Rules#":"Level of rule enforcement, 0=none, 1=penalties only, 2=penalties & full-course yellows, 3=everything except DQs" About aids, I'm afraid it's a question of trial; will be back if I find some info byyyyyyyye PS: one request, could the line "Session - Qualify1" be before "Time left"
I finally got a chance to try this and I tested on Rich's Skippy server without luck. It downloaded the components and installed them but then failed to install the vmod and then renamed the downloaded components to *.corrupt. I verified that the components installed and they did. I even installed the vmod manually and it installed fine. Here is some detail about the install I am testing on. <core> = C:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor2\VECDev <datapath> = C:\Users\noelh\Documents\rFactor2\VECDev In your utility I set "rFactor 2 Path" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor2\VECDev" and "rFactor 2 Packages Path" to "C:\Users\noelh\Documents\rFactor2\VECDev\Packages". As I said it installed the packages fine so I don't think it's a pathing thing. Once this thing gets polished up and +connect and +password are back, this thing will be very popular. It just needs some marketing somehow.
Do you have the latest version as the link I had sent you was updated... I'll try the same mod and see if I get the same error. Thanks! Update 1: So I did test it on mine and works...BUT.....from your failed tests it seems that it makes a huge difference what components are installed on the pc as they might conflict. I would need to test in such scenario which is not easy. Update 2: OK, it seems that if you have an older version of the same component installed, it might give you a corrupt message and it wont be installed. The reason is because the 2 would have the same signature, don't tell me how.......if you somehow go to Mod Installer, the corrupted component will installed.
Noel, I think the +connect works in rF2 now right? if so, what's the command please? I think it's time to add it to the proracing match maker. Thanks!
I think the info have been discuss here: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.p...-Now-Available?p=375540&viewfull=1#post375540
I already built a protocol handler into my Extract tool. I used this syntax for the URL: rfactor2://<serverip>:<httpport>?password=<serverpassword> LiveRacers is being updated to use this same syntax. So when you update your page it might be worth also using that syntax.
