Did you sign up to the season on the website? You will need to do that if you haven't already, let me know if you have a problem finding it and I'll point you in the right direction.
ok, go to the league website http://www.league.sr4l.com/ Along the top are tabs, move your mouse over the 'DRIVERS' tab and a box will appear below it , choose 'EDIT DATA' A new screen will appear with your profile, at the top of the area are 3 tabs, choose 'Seasons', you should be able to edit the 'rFactor 2 beta A.R.I 1960's F3 Fun Cup' and add the car you want to drive. Now just save that and you are done. Let me know if that is unclear or you have any problems
That is to register for the 'season' not the race. To register specifically for the race look for the new race thread when it is put up and just reply to that so Dany or Bryan can add you to the list.
Because every time I update mods I pray, and because this time it worked, let me share how I did it: download Mauros v 1.0 here http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.p...lass-Racing-All-Tracks-vMod?p=75599#post75599 downlod SearspointRW_v135_rfcmp, here http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/3868-Searspoint-Track-vmod-update-packaging-Test-Release go to manage mods, right click 1960s World Class Racing All Tracks and uninstall. go to Packages folder and delete MRG1024-v0.71-1960sWorldClassRacingAllTracks.rfmod paste in Packages folder MRG1026-v1.0-1960sWorldClassRacingAllTracks.rfmod you just downloaded from Mauros thread paste in Packages folder SearspointRW_v135.rfcmp you just downloaded from Mianiacs thread go to manage mods, right click 1960s World Class Racing All Tracks and install while in there, go to Options, uncheck Show Mods Only, rightclick SearspointRW and install. A reboot is recomended and if all goes well you are ready to get into A.R.I. server. Then, if my instructions are valid, go to Mauros and Mianiacs threads and thank them (otherwise curse me not them)
My Tips and tricks from Brianza (after yesterday's first practice): - Curva Grande (Turn 1) when rubbered can be down full throttle (will lose around 500-600 revs from entry to exit). If you can't do it flat out and the track is rubbered check your racing line (never miss the inside of the curve untill the exit). If racing line is ok, check your setup (look for front grip) - Lesmo: You can break late here in the first curve of the two. Don't start turning too soon or you won't be able to start accelerating early. Don't start turning too late or you'll miss the apex, lose the racing line and the acceleration. You don't have to brake for the second righthander, just a slight easy off the throttle aming for the apex, and once you reach it back hard on the throttle again letting the car go loose trying to get the maximun grip on the exit. - Parabolica: Don't brake too late here, Just late enough to be able to look soon for the inside line of the curve. You must start accelerating before you can see the marshall on the right at the middle of the curve. It's Important not to be too agressive in the entry as an early acceleration is a must here.
Just curious. Anybody notice solid red line in banking's turns? It seems to me, it means no changing lanes is allowed there. Logical come to think, dangerous place to do so.
Server is now holding Brianza, Putnam Park and Searspoint. It's set that way due to this poll. Sure it will be soon changed to hold just Brianza
I'd never consider trying to overtake there during race, unless the guy in front of you would let you pass him , too dangerous.
Thanks for voting guys, it's pretty clear what our next race will be. Server to be adjusted accordingly. Looking forward to the other tracks too. Brianza offers a different form of racing which requires great patience and driver awareness. Although this thread will run until Sunday it's an obvious decision. An official announcement to be made some time tomorrow. Thanks for participating. Fergy
I get connection failed, after connecting to the server. Im in for the welcome announcement but then get booted?
